The Blue Train is offering a special discount to anyone residing in Africa. These discounted rates are valid on selected departures as stipulated below. In addition, travelers can request other departure dates in 2026.
Take advantage of this limited-time offer and experience the luxury of The Blue Train at a discounted rate!

The Blue Train offers a luxurious, all-inclusive train experience that lasts for two nights. Guests can choose between two journeys: Pretoria to Cape Town or Cape Town to Pretoria. Check-in opens at 11:00 am, and while boarding formalities are in progress, guests can enjoy coffee and tea in the pre-departure lounges. Once boarding is complete, fruit platters are served in each suite. The train departs at 13:00 pm and arrives at its destination at 6:00 pm on the third day. Please note that train departure and arrival times are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed.

IMPORTANT: From the 01st of January 2025 on the Pretoria to Cape Town departures, The Blue Train will depart from Irene Station. Guests are requested to check in at Irene Country Lodge (Farm Side) from 11h00.
